The axial flux with amorphous alloy stators has the virtues of high power density, torque compact structure. But specific to disadvantage restricted space in-wheel, in-wheel motor was proposed in this paper. motor’s performance affects dynamic and security electric vehicles directly. And electromagnetic loss a significant impact on performance. To demonstrate influence thermal behavior machine, analyses employing magneto-thermal coupling simulations have been performed. Then experimental prototype manufactured tested. simulation output model verified by test value, proving that is feasible. Therefore, design technique provides reference for
